I'm guessing it's a Houser frame? Most of the time, you use a CRF style swing arm from whatever company made the chassis. For instance, I have a LSR chassis with a CRF motor so I have a LSR swing arm made to fit a LSR frame and CRF motor. Maybe someone else can tell you more for sure. I'm still learning about hybrids.
For the overflow tank, I know a lot of people that run a Polaris over flow can. I'm pretty sure it's off of a Predator.

LOL, sounds like she was a lot of help. I don't know. A lot of aftermarket swing arms use a Banshee chain guide but I don't know about the bearings. I can't believe they don't know what kind of bearings their own stuff uses. I'd probably call back and if I got her again and she said the didn't know, I'd ask her to let me talk to somebody else that would know.

lol, i feel for you man. Ive had a few houser quads, and they are pretty decent. BUT...... The design of how they use twenty million different parts from different models SUCKS!!! I spent alot of money that wasnt needed when i rebuilt mine, all the besrings and bushings range from a couple different year dirtbike models, to 400ex, 250r, and banshee. I messed up a swinarm bolt for mine, called them and they said its 250r design, i i got one and it wasnt it, then they said, oh, the suspension components are 400ex, so i tried that, not it, finally the chick(probably the same one you talked to, sounded like she didnt even know what a quad was)so oh, parts like that are custom made by only us, we use a different design on that. So i wanted to buy one and she said it would be about a month before they could make one, long story short, i told them how great they were, and had a local machine shop make the pivot bolt for me.
Im not sure if the crf is the same, but i want to say the swingarm bearings are from a 99 or 98 yz400, but if i remember correct you have to modify something also. Its just crazy.
I wouldnt mind having another houser to ride around if i could come accross one real cheap, it handled decent, but man they are a pain to work on.

Hey, im guessing you are talking about the collors in the swignarm pivot bearings? If i remember correctly my houser took a 98-99 YZ400 bushings in there, i think. I feel for you too, houser is pretty much useless unless you get the one guy there that know's just a little about they're own products, i always got the chick there which is you might as well hang up on cause she cant answer any questions, and atch out when she does, from my expierence she bats 100% with being wrong, lol. Call them up and make it clear you have spent a good bit of money to run thy're product, and need help with the info on it. I think one of my conversations with them was something like " do you guys even know what you build, i would be more than happy to tell everyone i know not to buy your chopped up junk", i dont beleive the houser stuff is junk though, good handling quads, just a pain to work on sometimes. But like i said give them a call and thell them whats up, if they are giving you the run around, tell them the BS isnt working, you just need simple answers. Justin

well, I was going to ask the same question about the houser swinger. Sounds like the same issues I have had with them. The other day I talked with a guy about some things, and he told me I needed to talk to Jeff, the guy who designed the hybrid. I sent him an email a week ago, but havent received anything back since.

I finally got an answer from houser on the parts needed. It came from john. Here is a copy of what he said:
The Dust cover, SDH-22129-00, & thrust bearings, 93342-22215, collars, 90387-1712R, are off the 98 YFZ400 motor cycle. I think the pivot bearings are the same ones used in ou TR450R swing arms, 132002, need 4, seal,132018, need 4. I am not sure on the rubber part arround the front of the swing arm. 400Ex or 250R. Thanks, John Houser ----- Original Message ----- From: Darren Mattice To: info@houser-racing.com Sent: Sunday, January 21, 2007 9:31 PM Subject: crf no link swingarm
I need some replacement parts for my houser nolink swingarm. I need all the chain guides and rollers. Also, the pivot bolt bearings. I am not sure what they are truly called. They are the ones that cover the outside holes that the pivot bolt runs through. I called the other day and didnt get much info. My CRF quad is all houser, and I have spent thousands of dollars with you all. If you could help me with this information I would appreciate it. If you hear of someone selling an extended nolink, I would like to know as well. Thanks. Darren Mattice
