I've got a set of DC-4s I'm about to put on my LSR/CRF, but I don't have any spindles. The LSR t-pin that is on my bike uses 89 250R hubs, rotors, calipers and all that. So, should I just get some 89 250R spindles? Back when I was riding 250Rs it seems like people were using 400EX spindles and putting caliper adapters or something on them, I can't remember excactly. Is this true and are they better? The guy that was using these a arms had 450R spindles, hubs, rotors, calipers and all on his quad. He has offered to sell me all that stuff and I would like to have it but I just don't know when I'll have the money to buy it. What should I do? Find some 89 250R spindles on Ebay? Or 400EX spindles and adapters, if so where do I get them? Thanks for any help.
Oh yeah, if anybody wants to buy the LSR t-pin a arms and spindles let me know.

The 400ex an adapters would be the way to go, but those little adapters can be a little pricey believe it or not. I would say you would be fine to just get some 250r ones on ebay. I check and see if i have any laying around here, not sure if i do or not.
Thank you Justin

Thanks Justin, I figured you'd know. I've seen a few sets of 250R spindles on Ebay for a good price. What makes the 400EX spindles better? I looked on Baldwin's website and the adapter things are $200!! If I decide to spend that kind of money, I'll just buy the 450R stuff from that guy that had the a arms.

The EX spindles are lighter. Aluminum vs. Steel I believe I'm running a full 400ex set-up and would kill for some of the little adapters!

Yeah, the adapters are a tad pricey. I've got a set of '89 250R spindles on the way now. Later on when I get the money, I might go to a 450R setup. But, that'll be after I get to do my rebuild.

I'm usually on after work until I go to bed talking to my racing buddies. So just hit me up and we'll see if we can work something out. But, get back to me as soon as you can. I've had more interest in these than I thought I would when you and I first started talking. Thanks

Well, tried to put the new front end on tonight and OF COURSE it didn't work out. I swear this thing is starting to piss me off, nothing has went smooth for me since I got it. Anyway, for some reason the castle nut that holds the top ball joint in the spindle won't go on enough to get the pin through the ball joint. Anybody have any suggestions? Also, what parts would it take to run the 450R setup and what would it cost me?

Hey, at this point you need to be calling LSR and see what they say. We have ran into problems before with lsr stuff not working the best. But call them and see what they say, hopefully they dont tell you that you have to run a certain setup only for those arms, that would suck. Or you could just sell that lsr stuff and buy yourself a gibson or walsh front end:)
