I am wondering which frame would run the best in the 250r frame i would personally like to go with the crf just because its a honda motor. but many other have different opinions.

A lot of folks run a YZ motor. Only thing about that is you either have to find a place to mount the oil tank or convert it to a dry sump system.

a wet sump kit is really hard on a engine, it sould have a oil tank for oil cooling and a filter and more oil, not just a little bit thats in the engine and no filter when you do a wet sump conversion,, If i was you dont go with a wet sump kit on your engine it wont last as long as the one with the dry sump componets on it,, a wet sump kit is a bad idea i think i would just build a diffrent oil tank and mount it in a diffrent spot,

By converting the oiling system and not running an oil tank is the worst thing you can do, you might as well not even put any oil in it  If you do this, engine life i severely cut down, you HAVE(def. should) to change your oil after evey ride, and it is exremely hard on your engine. I would recomend buying a converting engine, even if you are going to switch it back, odds are its had a hard life and is getting a little tired ;D Justin |
