Is there a difference between the two? I see some people running the crf 450 rear link as opposed to the cr500, will the crf 450 link work in place of the cr 500, would the shock need to be re-valved???

I don't know for sure, but I bet they are real close to the same. I've never seen the same chassis company use both. Some use the CRF450 linkage, some companies use the CR500 linkage. Like I know Laeger's uses the CR500 linkage and PRP uses the CRF450 linkage. I'd be interested in hearing what somebody who knows more than me has to say about it. ;D
